The 60’s were a fantastic decade for Women songwriters. Starting with the Girl Groups, the Era of the Singer/Songwriter, and the songs of Resistance calling for Social Change – instructor Pamela Rose will add fascinating biographical detail about the women who wrote our generational soundtrack. The class will get to learn about (and sing along to) songs like “You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling”, “Will you still Love Me Tomorrow?”, “Both Sides Now,” “Four Women”, “Think” - while celebrating the work of composers like Carole King, Laura Nyro, Valerie Simpson, Cynthia Weil and Aretha Franklin and Nina Simone.

Have you ever wondered why some singers seem to be able to call off a song and have the band begin and end it perfectly? Instructor Pamela Rose will clearly lay out some key strategies for 'Intros' and 'Outros' to help you sing more confidently in a live performance. Open to all levels.
